Every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, regulated and ready to learn. Yet for some children, emotional, sensory or developmental needs can make the school day feel overwhelming. WayMaker provides specialist therapeutic programmes for schools across Northern Ireland, helping children build the foundations they need to engage, connect and thrive.

Through Group Play Therapy, Brain Balance and Movement Matters, we work alongside schools to understand what may be happening beneath the behaviour and provide practical, child-centred support where it is needed most.

Support That Starts With the Child

When a child is struggling in school, what we see on the surface does not always tell us what is happening underneath. Difficulties with attention, emotional regulation, sensory processing, movement, confidence or relationships can all affect a child's ability to feel settled and ready to learn.

At WayMaker, we look beyond behaviour to understand what each child may need. Our school programmes provide targeted, therapeutic support within the school environment, helping children strengthen the skills and foundations that support learning, wellbeing and everyday school life.
