This training session is designed to empower teaching and school support staff, social workers, support workers, and community organisations with the A Sense of Wonder training program. Led by experienced Play & Creative Arts Therapist Zoe Younger, this program is designed to equip participants with practical skills to foster sensory play and enrich sensory development in children.
Through interactive workshops, participants delve into the significance of sensory play, cultivating learning, problem-solving, and creative thinking. The program illuminates how sensory play nurtures language and motor skills while forging vital nerve connections in young minds.
In the immersive sessions, Zoe Younger guides participants through activities that stimulate tactile, olfactory, auditory, vestibular/proprioception, emotional regulation, and messy sensory domains.
